How to manage your electrical installation?

Find out which is the order to assemble the installations in a house to avoid mistakes that cannot be repaired.

In a new house, in the construction stage, the first thing that should be put in place is the electrical installation. All begins with it. The electrical installation is the most fragile. The most common sanitary installation renovations are made at houses, apartments or old ones that have “suffered” extensive changes extending on vertically or horizontally line. For a own heating system, several factors must be taken into account: the outside average temperature of area where the house is built; the temperature that you need in the house; the type of central that the owner intends to buy (condensing, low temperature, etc.); the volume of the housing space (in the case in which the height of the room is more than 2.5m); glass surfaces (and their exposure) and the number of persons who live in the house (hot water needs).

Attention!

• When electrical, heating and sanitary installations are assembled, do not build the walls without having access to them then. It takes holes / doors to visit.
• The pipe is better not to present too many annexes, elbows, S-es, curves.
• The way from the supply to the column should be as short as possible, without many ups and downs.
• The pipes are not left “hanging” out. They should be tied and isolated.
• Never assemble the electrical installation near water, gas, sewerage. It is assembled on top (the only ones that are lowered the are plugs) and the sanitary installation down, at floor level. The designer must take into account the plugs, the sanitary installation or gas and the craftsman, whom executes is obliged to respect the plan made by the designer.

The reserve from the switchboard

Another important element that especially in the last period can be neglected due to the tendency to make as much savings is the reserve from the switchboard – it is recommended to be a reserve in the switchboard of 20% – that extra room is for future expansion of your installation (New electrical consumers, an electrical system expansion).

Before of any intervention in electric plant, even to change a light bulb, you should disconnect the electricity from the electric panel!
